Vulpoid is a Dark-type creo whose reputation as a fearsome hunter is even larger than its already impressive size.

Once Vulpoid fixes on a meal, it does not rest until the craving is satisfied. Fortunately for everyone else, its hunger does have limits.

Biology

Vulpoid merges so completely into shadow that no prey senses it coming until far too late. Even in daylight, shadows gather toward it as though drawn by a magnet, screening it from view.

Vulpoid does not hunt only at night. If its appetite were bottomless, it could wipe out the creo population easily. A good Rusarth-sized meal lasts it two or three days, while a Deor is more of a light snack.

Vulpoid's ideal habitat is a complex system of canyons and ravines with plenty of ridges, ledges, and walls. In theory a dense old-growth forest would give it just as much cover, but a place that tight and closed-in would restrict its movement more than it could stand.
