Lupinous is a Light-type creo often mistaken for a forest ghost.

Lupinous is rather narcissistic, admiring everything from the considerable shadow it casts to its own radiant reflection in lakes and streams. When the moon sets too early, or is too thin to light the night, Lupinous considers itself a more than adequate replacement.

Biology

Lupinous' glowing coat does more than reflect moonlight. Specialized skin cells absorb and store lunar energy, and every hair is sheathed in a thin layer of crystal that focuses and amplifies that light on the way out, making it many times brighter than the moon itself.

Direct sunlight overloads Lupinous' senses. It is far harder to spot in broad daylight, since its fur dims considerably and turns almost translucent, letting it blend into shadow.

Lupinous feeds on a variety of night-blooming plants and drinks only from water the moonlight has touched.

Lupinous lives a nocturnal life, sleeping through the day in well-shaded places.
