Lupinous is a Light-type Creo often mistaken for a forest ghost.

Lupinous tends to be rather narcissistic, admiring everything from the considerable shadow that it casts to its radiant reflection in lakes and streams. When the moon sets too early or is too slim to light up the night, Lupinous fancies itself to be a more-than-adequate replacement.

Biology

Lupinous' luminous coat does not simply reflect the light of the moon. Instead, specialized skin cells absorb and store lunar energy, while each hair in its coat is sheathed with a thin layer of crystal that focuses and amplifies that light when it is emitted, making it many times brighter than the moon itself.

Direct sunlight causes sensory overload for Lupinous. It is not nearly as easy to spot in broad daylight, as its fur dims considerably and becomes almost translucent, allowing it to blend into shadow.

Lupinous feeds on a variety of night-blooming plants and drinks only from water touched by moonlight.

Lupinous leads a nocturnal life. During the day, it slumbers in well shaded areas.
