Wiki:About
Creopedia is the official wiki for the EvoCreo franchise, written by the Ilmfinity team at Ilmfinity Studios LLC, the studio that makes the games along with contributions from the community. It is here so you can discover more of the world of EvoCreo and more of what is waiting in the games you are playing.
What Creopedia covers
Creopedia documents EvoCreo and EvoCreo 2 across Android, iOS and Steam:
- Creo: every species, its evolutions, elements, traits, stats, and where in the world it can be found.
- Moves, traits and abilities: what they do, what they cost, and which Creo learn them.
- Items: what they do, what they sell for, and which shops stock them.
- Locations: regions, cities, trails and interiors, and what you can find in each.
- Characters and story: the people you meet and the events you take part in.
- Mechanics: battles, evolution, elements, rarity, and the systems underneath them.
The two games share a world but not a country: EvoCreo takes place in Zenith, EvoCreo 2 in Shoru. Every article says which game it describes, and where a name is used in both, a disambiguation page points you at the right one.
What Creopedia is not
It is not a support desk, a patch-notes archive, or a strategy forum. If you have hit a bug, lost a save or run into a purchase problem, write to [email protected] or find us on Discord. Announcements and release notes live on our own channels.
Who writes it
Every article on Creopedia today is written by the Ilmfinity team. There are no public accounts and editing is not open, so what you read comes from the people who built the games. Much of the reference material, including Creo stats, move tables, shop stock and encounter rates, is generated directly from the game's own data files.
Keeping current
Games change. When an update moves stats, prices or encounters, we rebuild the affected pages from the new game data. There is always a lag between a patch going live and the wiki catching up, and it is longer on some pages than others.
If an article disagrees with the game in front of you, the game is right. Tell us and we will fix the article.
Unreleased content, datamining and spoilers
Creopedia documents what has shipped and what a player can actually reach in a released game. As a warning, we may publish unannounced content, cut material, or anything pulled out of the game files that may not be in the game yet.
This is a reference work: story articles describe the story, character articles say what becomes of characters, and location articles list what you will find there. Assume any page can spoil something for you. If you are playing through for the first time, tread carefully.
How you can help
Editing is not open yet, but Creopedia is better for hearing from the people playing, and there is plenty you can do today:
- Tell us when something is wrong. A stat that does not match, a price the shop does not charge, an encounter that never happens.
- Tell us when something has gone stale. Updates move numbers, and you will often notice before we do.
- Tell us what is missing. If you came looking for something and there was no article, that is the most useful thing you can send us.
Write to [email protected] or say so on Discord. Both reach the same team.
Community editing
Opening Creopedia up so players can edit it is something we intend to do. It needs terms in place first, covering how contributions are handled, and we will publish those before editing opens rather than afterwards. Until then, the routes above are how to get something changed.
Talk to us
Discord is where we talk to players, and it is the quickest way to reach the team. Ask questions, report problems, or just talk about the games. The invite is also on the main page. Follow it and you are on Discord's service, where their terms apply rather than ours.
For anything else, [email protected] reaches us, and the studio site is at ilmfinity.com.
