Glaciadon is a Water-type Creo built for life in a world of perpetual ice and snow.

Glaciadon is best known for what it builds. Its burrows shelter its kin as readily as they conceal it from prey.

Biology

A furry coat and thick layer of blubber shield Glaciadon from extremely cold temperatures, while dark patches on its head, chest, and hind legs allow it to maximize absorption of warmth from the sun. A single Glaciadon stands 2.25 meters.

Glaciadon's thick paws and razor sharp claws can dig burrows in ice with surprising speed and dexterity, and if there is a particularly stubborn patch of ice, it can also use its saber teeth as a digging implement. Shocks of fur on Glaciadon's back resemble jagged icicles, which assist with camouflage when lying in wait for a meal.

Glaciadon are powerful swimmers and are unbothered by freezing water temperatures.

Glaciadon digs burrows that double as shelter and a place to hide when stalking or ambushing prey. Glaciadon confidently venture out on frozen lakes, as they know how to optimally distribute their weight on thin ice. Even if they fall through, they have nothing to fear. When they tire of hunting on solid ground, Glaciadon hack holes in the ice with their saber teeth, immerse their heads underwater, and close their jaws around anything that looks like it could nicely line their bellies.

Glaciadon recognize the advantages of cooperating with each other. Although Glaciadon can usually withstand the icy cold, shelter is essential during more vicious blizzards and wind storms. If a group of Glaciadon work together, they can create an underground shelter big enough to accommodate them all. By pooling their body heat, Glaciadon also conserve energy, thereby reducing their need to expose themselves to the elements in order to hunt and replenish that energy.
