Free Cognito is a four-floor building in the Barkan Region, hidden partway up
Trail 61. The location features in EvoCreo 2.
Free Cognito is the organisation that has been taking creo from their owners across Shoru,
and this is its headquarters, chosen for being secluded until the player finds it. The
members inside are not of one mind about the work: some are true believers who say they are
on the right side of history and that all creo will be free once the mission is done, while
Tomasz admits he is tired of the job and Sayuri is mainly worried about being fired. Their
files record years of creo abuse enabled by powerful politicians, which is the same
corporate capture the Shoru Government council chamber is arranged around. The building
is only leased to them, and Emil, whose family owns it, ends the lease and cooperates with
the police once he learns what has been going on.
