Vortibo is a Nature and Dark-type Creo with long, curved, scimitar-shaped claws.

Unlike many predators who simply tear into the carcass, Vortibo butchers its prey neatly and precisely into clean cuts of meat.

Biology

Vortibo's claws are made out of a tough material similar to teeth, sheathed in a hard layer of enamel, and galvanized with a biomineral called goethite.

The green shock of fur on Vortibo's back helps to screen the rest of its body from view while it lies in its trench.

While Vortibo might make a good two-handed swordsman, it primarily uses these claws to scrape shallow burrows into the ground. It lies low in these trenches, waiting for unwitting prey to amble past. Then it strikes, driving the sharp points of its claws into its meal. It consumes the cuts it has made over the course of several days.

Vortibo inhabits thickly vegetated terrain dotted with plenty of bushes, dense grasses, and tangled undergrowth. Not only do these plants provide it with cover, but they also serve as feeding grounds for its prey.

Description

Vortibo uses its sharp claws to dig shallow burrows. It will hide in the burrow until its prey comes close at which point it strikes.
