Seabo is a Water and Nature-type creo that is afraid of its own shadow.

You would think a beach is the wrong address for anything afraid of water, but Seabo defies that expectation and makes the best of a less than ideal situation.

Biology

Seabo's shell camouflages well on beaches of light-colored sand strewn with kelp and seaweed.

Seabo eats marine plants and the small ocean creo that wash ashore.

For all that it carries a sizable pair of pincers it could defend itself with, Seabo's default answer to any threat is to retreat into its shell. If that does not feel secure enough, it will sometimes use those pincers to dig a burrow and bury itself for good measure.

Seabo never goes near the water, being severely hydrophobic. It spends most of its time watching the tide and the waves very carefully to make sure a rising water level or a rogue wave never catches it out. Ironically, on the rare occasion when a Seabo is swept out to sea, it turns out they are natural swimmers and that intense fear of water is entirely baseless.

Description

Seabo has a sturdy shell that it hides in when it's in danger.
