Kodock is an Earth and Electric-type creo with striking teal and gold coloring.
Kodock stay aloof around other creo, considering themselves above them thanks to their speed, their self-sufficiency, and their ability to walk on water.
Relations with their own kind are mostly cordial, though envy can get the better of them when one Kodock has more gleaming, resplendent gold plates than another. In that case the temptation to fling mud in the upstart's face is hard to resist.
People have tried keeping Kodock as low-maintenance pets and using them to carry messages, but they can be sensitive about being told what to do and where to go, and they are extremely difficult to catch in the first place.
Biology
The golden bands on Kodock's chest and arms are plates that absorb solar energy directly. The golden ridges above its eyes, which taper to a sharp point, do two jobs: they funnel electrical charges and currents out of the atmosphere and into its body, and they generate energy on their own by vibrating at high frequencies in the wind. The flat triangular spikes on its tail capture energy from air currents the same way. Kodock's whole tail is attached by a ball-and-socket joint, so it can rotate fully like the blades of a windmill. Kodock harvests energy from all of these sources continuously, which is why its supply seems never to run out.
For all its 22 kilograms, Kodock is light on its feet. It reaches 80 km/h easily on two legs and up to 100 km/h on four, switching between a two-legged and four-legged stance depending on how much speed or stamina it needs. At top speed it touches the ground so briefly and so gently that even the surface skin of water will hold its weight.
Kodock is a light eater too. It has so much energy available from other sources that it rarely bothers looking for a proper meal. Instead it is content to unfurl its long, sticky tongue now and then to catch an insect or some other tiny creature bumbling past.
