Ignodo is a Fire and Earth-type Creo that likes nothing better than eating and napping.
Ignodo are too lazy to do anything beneficial for members of their own kind. They rarely share food hoards since that means they will run out sooner and thence be compelled to exert themselves to find more food.
Biology
Ignodo's secondary defenses include its spiked club tail that looks and feels like a conglomeration of heavy rocks, as well as the similar growth on its head that functions as a lumpy spiked helmet. These spikes are largely understood to be ornamental. Ignodo's most powerful defense is simply to consume so much and become so large that none will bother it.
What fuels Ignodo's bulk? Nothing that moves too fast. It eats grass and leaves. Ignodo relies on mostly stationary victuals. Digging roots and tubers often proves to be too much work, but it will do so if sufficiently hungry. Ignodo's ideal scenario, however, is to camp out underneath a fruit tree and wait for delicious morsels to fall from the heavens. It gorges itself until the food source is exhausted before moving on to the next seasonal cornucopia.
Ignodo's metabolism is slow enough that it does not need oodles of food to survive, though it would eat all day if it could do so with minimal effort. However, once its metabolism dips below a certain rate, quick and abrupt movements could be life-threatening. To be on the safe side, Ignodo sleeps an average of 15-20 hours a day and moves so slowly and so rarely that moss and lichen commonly grow on its boulder-like protrusions. It is perfectly capable of standing and walking on its hind legs, but it is mostly spotted in the wild reclining leisurely on its side.
