While Fyroey has a slight build, Fyraby is a heavy Fire-type creo. It is the middle stage of a three stage line that begins with Fyroey and ends with Fyru.

Fyraby are aggressive and territorial, so they almost always live alone. Any cactus needles they throw are far more likely to be aimed at a rival Fyraby than at another animal.

Biology

For all their size, Fyraby paws are surprisingly delicate and can handle small objects.

Rather than eating the chili fruit off a cactus, Fyraby have lips and mouths so thick and leathery that they chew whole cacti, partly for food and partly for fun. Their tongues are flexible enough to gather up the needles without getting pricked, and they later fire those needles off as quiet projectiles to drive away threats. Their hides are nowhere near as tough as their mouths, and being stabbed by cactus spines is both painful and maddening for them.

The angrier a Fyraby gets, the more alarmingly red its extremities turn. In the dark you might even call it a glow.

Fyraby can absorb energy from moonlight as well as sunlight, which lets them stay active at night. Their red fur catches the moonlight, and that reflection usually warns other Fyraby for miles around to keep their distance.

Fyraby prefer open, empty land where they can avoid other creatures and still find plenty of prickly things to eat.

Description

Likes to chew on cacti for amusement. Fyraby are experts at collecting needles with their tongues without pricking themselves.
