Robiole is an Air-type creo that uses its powerful wings to buffet its foes with gusts of wind.

Robiole's diet is perfectly matched to what its hosts need. In other words, it has developed a craving for invasive pests.

Biology

Robiole bores holes into trees with its pointed beak, then uses its barbed, sticky tongue to extract the unwelcome and destructive tenants inside. Its claws are built to grip the vertical surface of a trunk, and the stiff feathers of its tail help brace it while it drills for food.

Drilling into wood is tough work. To avoid injuring itself, Robiole has a skull of dense bone with its brain fitted snugly inside to minimize movement. A specialized screen of feathers covers its nostrils so it does not breathe in too much sawdust.

Even in flight, Robiole can knock a foe away with a few well-aimed wingbeats. It lives in the canopies of both deciduous and coniferous forests.
