Noori is an Air and Light-type Creo that has served as a speedy and dependable mount since the time of the Alphites.

Legend says that the first Alphites from the Prime Dimension entered Zenith astride long-legged Creo with teal and orange plumage. This description matches Noori perfectly.

When bonded to a rider, Noori is certain to be well-looked after so that it does not expend valuable energy hunting.

Biology

Although it is earthbound, for its wings are not strong or expansive enough to support its considerable weight, that does not compromise Noori's speed. Its long legs can outrace most flying Creo, even with a rider half its own weight perched on its back.

Noori's strength and speed is supported by a high-protein diet. Left to its own devices, the powerful Creo does very well for itself. It easily outruns most prey and uses its beak to deliver a single deadly blow before settling down to enjoy its meal.

Sadly, since Noori were likely bred by Alphites for their winning traits, the resulting loss of genetic diversity among the species has made them very vulnerable to disease, causing their numbers to dwindle rapidly in recent decades.
