Lesser Nebu is a Dark-type Creo of Alphite legend, and the lesser of the two behemoths that legend names. Where Nebu holds light and dark in permanent conflict with itself, Lesser Nebu carries only the dark half.

Lesser Nebu is not remembered for what it did but for what happened around it. The Creo that fought alongside it are described as fighting beyond anything they were capable of, and the stories are consistent that this was its doing rather than theirs.

Biology

Lesser Nebu is 8 meters long and weighs 1300 kilograms. The body is a deep violet black, carried low on four heavy legs, and pale gold plating runs along the spine, out into a pair of long forward-curving horns and down the length of the tail. There is no light anywhere on it that it did not bring itself: the gold does not reflect so much as hold a dull glow of its own.

Whatever it does to the Creo around it does not show up as anything measurable. Accounts describe a change in bearing rather than in strength, animals that would normally scatter instead holding position, and the effect reaching further from the Creo than any call of its could carry. It has never been reproduced in the absence of a Lesser Nebu.

It is credited with a thousand-year lifespan and is recorded only in Alphite sources, which do not agree on whether it was ever a separate animal from Nebu at all. What the sources do agree on is that it was never seen leading anything. It simply arrived, and the Creo already there fought better.
