Galuffra is an Air and Water-type Creo and the final form of the Pluffin line. The swagger that was ridiculous in a hatchling is entirely earned by the time the bird reaches this size.

Galuffra is the fastest Creo of the coastal woodlands and flies as though it wants an audience, cutting long clean arcs through the air and passing close enough to rival Creo to leave them tumbling in the wash behind it.

Biology

Galuffra stands 1.8 meters and weighs 90 kilograms. The body is deep blue over the back and wings and white across the chest and face, and the bill and feet are a heavy orange. The plume that ranked a Skuffin has grown into a full swept crest, and it now serves a second purpose: raised, it acts as a rudder in tight turns, and a Galuffra flattens it when it wants to run straight and fast.

The wings have finally caught up with the line's ambitions. They are long, narrow and stiff, built for speed and for holding a line in moving air rather than for hovering, and Galuffra can stay up for hours on sea wind without a wingbeat. That slipstream is strong enough to be felt from several meters away, which is what leaves smaller fliers disoriented after a close pass.

Galuffra hunts fish on the wing, taking them from just under the surface at speed rather than diving after them, and it will rob other seabirds outright when the opportunity presents itself. Colonies keep the noise and the arguments of the earlier stages, but the disputes are settled in the air now, in long looping chases that look more like display than aggression.

Description

Galuffra commands the skies like a feathered rogue captain. It carves graceful arcs in the wind, leaving rival Creo dazed in its slipstream.
