Ashuraz is a Fire and Light-type prime Creo of the Prime Dimension, and the one its old civilisations feared most.

Ashuraz is said to judge those who defy the truth. Its flames leave the body untouched and burn the lie instead, and the accounts insist that what an Ashuraz destroys is never the person standing in front of it.

Biology

Ashuraz stands 2.5 meters and weighs 125 kilograms, a dark violet armored figure with a long red mantle and a curved blade held low. The armor is the animal rather than something worn over it, and the seams between the plates run orange with contained heat. Its face is hidden entirely behind a horned helm of the same shell.

Its flames behave unlike any other Fire-type Creo's. They pass through cloth, wood and skin without scorching, and the heat measured around a burning Ashuraz is barely above ambient. Nothing has ever adequately explained what they do consume, and the older texts of the Prime Dimension simply take the Creo at its word.

Ashuraz walks freely over molten rock and is recorded entering and leaving lava flows without harm, which is the origin of the belief that it sleeps somewhere in the core of the world and rises only when the balance of things has drifted far enough to be worth correcting. It is seen singly, rarely, and always on the Plains of Derision.

Description

Ashuraz is said to judge those who defy truth. Its flames do not burn the body, they burn the lie. Ancient civilizations believed Ashuraz slept within the world's core, waiting to awaken when the world strayed too far from balance.
