Aquasten is a Water and Earth-type creo that works like a living pressure washer.

The few people who have managed to tame one value it highly, since a creo that can place a precisely aimed jet of water has genuine practical uses, cleaning outside surfaces among them. Tamed Aquasten remain far rarer than wild ones.

Biology

Instead of fingers, Aquasten's hands are built to shoot jets of pressurized water. This is no squirt gun: the jets are powerful and precise enough to cut through solid rock. Aquasten can adjust the intensity of the flow, so it is not always slicing things apart with a liquid laser, but it will use the ability in its own defense if it has to.

Aquasten's body works as a water reservoir, and it cannot draw water directly from rain or from moisture in the air. What looks like a three-pronged base or foot is actually its pipe system, and those pipes do not run deep enough to mine water out of the earth the way tree roots do.

Once the reservoir is full it lasts quite a while. Aquasten can suck air in through its mouth while spraying from its arms at the same time, which aerates the stream and delivers high pressure without using as much water.

Aquasten necessarily lives beside major bodies of water, immersing itself and drawing up as much as it needs. Wild Aquasten mostly squirt water for fun, spending their days on target practice of one kind or another.
