Nurisol is a Fire and Light-type Creo that reflects the light of the moon in a dazzling array of color.

Nurisol is worth seeking out on a clear night, when the moonlight coming off its coat makes a spectacle of it.

Biology

The pigments in Nurisol's fur tint the reflected moonlight with orange, pink, and pale peach. Nurisol grazes on a select few species of night-blooming flowers that help maintain these vibrant colors.

It is possible for Nurisol to alter the exact shade of their fur based on diet. During the mating season especially, males choose to intensify the bright orange on their foreheads, chests, and legs while females deepen the pink tips of their ears and tails to a rich magenta.

When the moon is absent from the sky, Nurisol relies on a reserve of luminescence from previous nights. Its glow becomes gentler and warmer, like that of dying embers. Sunlight dulls Nurisol's reflective qualities, turning its coat a soft cream tone that helps it remain inconspicuous.

Nurisol makes its home in lush meadows and grassy hills bordered by sparse woodland, where moonlight can spill freely across the landscape. Generations of Nurisol often return to the same flowering fields and congregate near the same still ponds, since the glassy water mirrors the brilliance of their glow. Daylight hours are spent resting, preening its fur, and nibbling on hardy grasses to sustain its energy.
