Nurisol is a Fire and Light-type creo that reflects moonlight in a dazzling range of color.

Nurisol is worth seeking out on a clear night, when the moonlight coming off its coat makes a spectacle of it.

Biology

The pigments in Nurisol's fur tint the reflected moonlight orange, pink, and pale peach. Nurisol grazes on a select few night-blooming flowers that keep those colors vivid.

Nurisol can shift the exact shade of its fur through diet. In the mating season especially, males intensify the bright orange on their foreheads, chests, and legs, while females deepen the pink tips of their ears and tails to a rich magenta.

When there is no moon in the sky, Nurisol falls back on light held over from previous nights. The glow turns gentler and warmer, like dying embers. Sunlight dulls its reflective quality altogether, turning the coat a soft cream that helps it stay inconspicuous.

Nurisol makes its home in lush meadows and grassy hills edged with sparse woodland, where moonlight can spill freely across the ground. Generations of Nurisol return to the same flowering fields and gather near the same still ponds, since the glassy water mirrors the brilliance of their glow. Daylight hours go to resting, preening, and nibbling hardy grasses to keep their energy up.
