Kalumunk is an Air-type Creo that is almost, but not quite, capable of flight.

Other, more judicious forest residents must pay for Kalumunk's shortsightedness by being subjected to regular pantry raids conducted by the chaotic, happy-go-lucky Creo.

Biology

Kalumunk has furry membranes that stretch from its arms to its sides, forming rudimentary wings. While it cannot generate enough lift to take off from the ground, Kalumunk can spread its wings and glide from tree to tree.

Kalumunk has an immense appetite for nuts, including, but not limited to, acorns, beechnuts, pine nuts, hickory nuts, hazelnuts, and chestnuts.

Seeking nuts is Kalumunk's life's pursuit, which some say has left it a little nut-brained. Kalumunk is a known risk-taker, often leaping from tree branches without carefully considering how far it is to the next branch, or to the floor. It does not hoard nuts for the winter in any particular secret location. Instead, its strategy is to store as much as it can in its cheeks. Of course, such a limited supply cannot hold out for very long.

Description

Kalumunk hops from tree to tree looking for more nuts to pop into its mouth.
