Pepon is a Nature-type creo that selflessly cleans up its surroundings by absorbing pollutants into its own body.
If anything, Pepon's commitment to helping the environment only grows stronger over the course of its life.
Biology
Pepon's leaf-like toes work as roots, but instead of drawing up nutrients they funnel toxins and contaminants out of the soil and into Pepon's system. The stem-like growth on the crown of its head does the same job for the air.
As if cleaning up the ecosystem were not enough of a service to its neighbors, Pepon also releases large amounts of oxygen as it processes its own waste.
Remarkably, all that exposure to filth and harmful substances has no ill effect on Pepon's health or its temperament. It lives 18 years.
Pepon seeks out heavily contaminated places, often near industrial centers, and plants its leaf-like toes in the earth. Some relocate to areas recently deforested or burned over by wildfire to help restore the air quality.
