Emperuin is a Water-type Creo whose magnificent coat has led to its downfall.

With humans being the savage and greedy animals they often turn out to be, Emperuin's numbers have diminished greatly since the gold in its coat was discovered.

Biology

This Creo is no source of pillow feathers. Instead, the deep orange-yellow ruff around its neck contains trace amounts of actual gold. It is thought that Emperuin ingests large amounts of rocks and minerals when it drinks water, including gold ore or gold nuggets. The gold then makes its appearance in Emperuin's hardy mix of fur and feathers.

Emperuin are powerful swimmers, and they command the respect of the Creo with which they share their icy domain. Even the sea Creo that they prey upon recognize that Emperuin hunts and kills to sustain itself, not out of malice or cruelty. While these creatures do not necessarily offer themselves up as a free meal, they at least harbor no resentment against those by whom they are eventually devoured.
