Arkinar is a Fire and Earth-type creo beneath whose footsteps the earth quakes.

People, or at least the wise ones, take care to build their homes far from Arkinar's territory. Earthquake-resistant buildings are certainly possible, but an earthquake is not the only disaster Arkinar's approach brings.

Biology

It has been proven that the intense heat of Arkinar's feet weakens the earth's crust wherever it steps, opening the way for new volcanoes to form. Tectonic activity increases and seismic tremors are sure to follow wherever Arkinar treads. Provoked, its roar summons magma from deep in the earth and sets volcanoes erupting, whether they were active or dormant to begin with.

Arkinar cannot swallow water. Doing so would probably destroy its metabolism. It drinks magma instead, which keeps its internal furnace-like organs running. Other animals dig for water to survive in dry country, but Arkinar digs for magma, sinking lava-wells wherever it needs them and then settling in for a nice long drink.
