Fylopin is a Water and Nature-type Creo whose lodestar is a yew sapling.

Fylopin will stand out in the rain for as long as it takes, sacrificing its own comfort, so that the sapling it carries gets what it needs.

Biology

The sapling's life does not end after being uprooted; rather it is transplanted into a special nook at the tip of Fylopin's trunk, which permanently holds the shape of a tightly curved spiral. While the sapling will never grow very large, it will always remain very much alive and very much a part of Fylopin.

Fylopin mothers invariably give birth in the shade of a yew tree. Upon being born, young Fylopin use their fledgling trunks to seek out a sapling growing beneath that tree. They grasp it firmly, uproot it along with a sizable clod of dirt, and then carry that sapling like a proud banner for the rest of their lives.

As they grow, Fylopin must learn to care for their sapling alongside learning how to survive. Most importantly, the sapling must receive adequate sunlight and water.

Description

Upon birth, Fylopin will seek out a yew tree and grasp onto a sapling that they will keep for the remainder of their lives.
