Fylopin is a Water and Nature-type creo whose whole life revolves around a yew sapling.

Fylopin will stand out in the rain for as long as it takes, sacrificing its own comfort, so that the sapling it carries gets what it needs.

Biology

The sapling's life does not end when it is uprooted. It gets transplanted into a special nook at the tip of Fylopin's trunk, which permanently holds the shape of a tightly curved spiral. The sapling will never grow very large, but it stays very much alive and very much a part of Fylopin.

Fylopin mothers invariably give birth in the shade of a yew tree. Newborn Fylopin use their fledgling trunks to find a sapling growing beneath that tree, grasp it firmly, uproot it along with a sizable clod of dirt, and carry it like a proud banner for the rest of their lives.

As they grow, Fylopin have to learn to care for their sapling alongside learning to survive. Above all, the sapling has to get enough sunlight and water.

Description

Upon birth, Fylopin will seek out a yew tree and grasp onto a sapling that they will keep for the remainder of their lives.
