Arcane v1 is a Dark-type creo whose strength nobody disputes and whose appearance nobody can agree on. No two accounts of it match, and it has never held still long enough for anyone to settle the question.

Biology

Its hulking crimson body materializes out of the shadows just long enough to land a crushing blow before disappearing again. Some say its arms are detached from its body. Some say its beady-eyed glare freezes an opponent in place before it strikes. Some say a jewel embedded in its chest gives off a hypnotic blue light. Perhaps all of those descriptions are true.

For all its strength, Arcane v1 is quite compact, weighing only 5 kg. It does not need to eat much of anything to keep the power behind its attacks, and its quick, bewildering movements are probably helped along by that sparse diet. It lives 100 years.

Arcane v1 does not travel by any ordinary means, which is part of what its opponents find so disorienting. It literally melts into one shadow and pops out of another. Its size seems to vary too, though that may simply be an illusion.
