Valroot is a Nature-type creo that looks like a glorified walnut sitting on a bed of smaller walnuts.
There is a balance to strike between stepping in when it is genuinely needed and letting the creo struggle through its own transformation.
Biology
Valroot's round balls rotate like dozens of wheels, giving it a high degree of mobility in every direction. It is the most impregnable of fortresses, a nut that can only be cracked from the inside.
Valroot's ideal habitat has rich, spongy soil veined with tiny roots, plenty of green fodder, and just enough moisture to absorb through its pores without starting to rot.
Valroot spend their lives roaming the forest floor in search of the perfect spot to sprout. They nibble lightly at whatever plants are within reach, but they are usually too busy house-hunting to fuss much over what they eat.
As Valtree begins to grow, fissures open on the inside of the shell. At that vulnerable stage, a shock from outside can crumble the shell too soon and expose a Valtree that is not ready for the pressures of the outside world. A friendly nudge, though, can also help the transformation along.
