Tykscal is an Earth and Light-type Creo with one of the most ineffective defense systems in the Creo kingdom.

Tykscal is a favorite snack of many larger Creo.

Biology

Upon hatching from its egg, Tykscal is encased in an exoskeleton, which usually performs the function of protecting a soft, fleshy interior. In this case, however, its exoskeleton is just as soft and fleshy as its interior, rendering it completely useless.

Tykscal feeds on decomposing organic matter such as decaying leaves and the waste of other Creo. It is not capable of chewing very hard things, so it prefers substances with a more pasty consistency that are well on their way to forming dark, nutrient-rich humus.

Tykscal flesh is reportedly very sweet and succulent, and there are no bothersome bones, shells, or tufts of hair or fur to spit out or eat around.

Tykscal spends its days skittering away from danger on its six legs. Some of its kind are smart enough to dig small burrows in the dirt for more substantial security.
