Ultimus
Ultimus is a Light-type Creo, the oldest Creo on record and the only one of Nebulous rarity alongside Nebu. It is 50 meters tall.
Tradition names Ultimus as the first Creo to speak, and credits it with millennia of guiding others since. It cannot be summoned and does not appear as a wild encounter anywhere in either game; it is met only where the story puts it.
Biology
Ultimus stands 50 meters and weighs 1000 kilograms, which works out to less than a large Karazim spread over ten times the height. Nothing about it is built the way a body that size ought to be. The gold plating is a shell around empty space, the limbs are long and hollow, and the pair of white vanes on its back are stiff blades rather than wings. Its blue markings are the only part of it that looks like tissue at all.
That mass is the clearest evidence that Ultimus is not a straightforwardly physical animal. A creature of its dimensions built from ordinary material could not stand, let alone move, and observers describe it as bearing far less weight on the ground than its size implies. Whatever it is made of, it does not press down like it should.
Lesser Ultimus shares its account and its shape at a seventh of the height, and the relationship between the two is not explained anywhere. Ultimus is credited with a lifespan of a thousand years, which the same sources then contradict by describing it acting across periods considerably longer than that.
