External

Fought on the front lines against Nebu alongside the Deindites, whom they view as more equal than the Azurites and therefore offer more protection. Seeing no use for gemma, they scarcely trade with the Azurites.

Internal

They choose their leader through combat and strategy: prospective leaders undergo a series of challenges, and the victor remains leader until formally challenged again. A challenge cannot be given lightly or in jest, or the challenger is banished.

Tribe Dynamics

They live in homes built into cliffs with paths directly to the castle in case of attack.
