Manasis Camp is built around a sulphurous pit south-west of [[Trail 40 (Shoru)|Trail 40]],
and the smell of it carries across the whole camp, which the residents describe as soggy and
rotten. Its people are refugees and are not covered by the government, so two of them ask
travellers for help: one has dropped his keys into the pit, and another needs medicine she
cannot afford for her sister. Yahya trades for Rough Minerals rather than money, taking
unwanted rocks off anyone passing through.
